PowerPoint created on Ipad can't be opened in Windows?

I have a little problem here. I created a Powerpoint on my Ipad and then exported it to Keynote in order to insert animations (this function was somehow blocked in Powerpoint). Then I exported the file back to PowerPoint in pptx format. It opened in Powerpoint on my Ipad, an Android smartphone and my Windows laptop and everything worked fine. Then, as I said, I submitted the Powerpoint in pptx format via a student portal to my computer science teacher for evaluation, but she was unable to unzip the file (presumably on a Windows PC) ".

P.S.: All my devices as well as Powerpoint and Keynote are up to date.

Where could the problem be?

To

This could be because your computer science teacher's PowerPoint version is out of date and the corresponding format is not displayed correctly. It might help if your teacher saves the file in a different format via "Save as…". Otherwise she has to update her PowerPoint.

Gr

Pptx are quasi zipped ppt. Try saving it as ppt and then uploading it. But it is more the teacher than you.

Thanks! I then sent her the file in pdf. That went then. I'll ask her if that could be the problem with her. However, she is a computer science teacher so the latest Powerpoint version is a must.

To

Actually yes, that's true. But in fact some computer science teachers neglect the whole thing.

Do

Thanks! The next time I will try the same file as ppt pptx and pdf (went to her).

Gr

PDF always works but then your animations are gone. Otherwise good plan.

Do

She wanted a "common format". PDF was the safest option for me.

Gr

You're right

The problem is probably with the teacher😀

Don't you have any friends with a Windows PC that you could send your file to for testing purposes?

Do

I tried it on a Windows laptop (latest version) and it worked.

El

Well then your teacher won't get it. And she calls herself a computer science teacher? She probably missed the job 😀

Do

Yes, it's a little older. Maybe she doesn't really know the new standards yet.

El

She is obliged to continue training through the employer or, in this case, the employer (the school) until she retires. You could take over the lesson for you next lesson

Do

I can try xD
