Computer low FPS?

I bought my laptop about 2 years ago. In the beginning I always had around 140-200 fps in games like Fortnite with good graphics settings. And today I have just 40 fps… I just reinstalled Windows with everything an hour ago. Fortnite and nothing else is on it and still I have 40 fps and I don't know why!
