Nvidia Control Panel does not open?

I bought an E-GPU for my notebook. A 1050 Ti.

I have already installed all the latest drivers. If I go in the system settings and want to open the control panel, nothing happens. In Task Manager, a process opens briefly but closes again. What should I do?
