What kind of connections does your laptop have? Your TV will probably have an HDMI connection?
If the laptop has an HDMI output and the TV has an HDMI input, you can connect them with a normal HDMI cable.
On the television you only have to select the corresponding HDMI input as the source. On the laptop you sometimes have to set the second screen in the options.
And cables with Micro HDMI on one side and "normal" HDMI on the other can be bought.
