Which laptops are suitable for programming?

I can program on any laptop as long as it is reasonably up to date

Programming is relatively tame. If you are developing 3D programs, of course, then you need a decent amount of graphics power to test your program. But in essence this works without problems on almost all devices.

If you ask so inaccurately, there's no better answer. You can already program with an old C64.

So I don't know much about programming and what power the device needs. After the summer vacation I go to the IT school and you need your own device

Pretty much any laptop is suitable for programming itself. Executing the program will be the sticking point, depending on what you write.
