My high-speed camera is flickering?

I connected my high-speed camera to my laptop at home. Is it normal for something to flicker? Is that because of the light? Usually I have no flickering in the picture. Is the camera broken now or is it normal? By the way, it gets warm quickly.

I think that happens to me too. But it could also be a defect because if it gets warm quickly it is actually not a good sign
