When I call the "Network" button on my laptop, "Computer" will not show any hits. When I do the same on my PC, however, all the other computers in the house - including the laptop - appear. I can even access it. It is also strange that everywhere the button "homegroup" is missing - both PC and laptop…
PCs can be set to display others, but can't be found by themselves.
The homegroup is no longer part of Windows 10.
1) the homegroup you have set up even under Windows, if that is still in Windows10 I do not know exactly because I've never used
2) On your laptop, the network setting or firewall could prevent the visibility of other network devices.
Check the laptop, see if your network is public and change it to private. If that does not help, check the firewall if there are any manual settings that affect the network.
Of course, it is also possible that the laptop has a different workgroup (workgroup) than the rest of the devices, so you can see on the other devices that the laptop is in another workgroup.
Visibility but most probably helps my first tip with the public-private network.
With WIn 10, the homegroup is no longer available.
Have you already shared a folder with the laptop? Usually then only the other computer appears.
Thank you for your answer. Too bad that there's no homegroup left. (Especially since there's still the possibility with files by "access grant" to click on the "homegroup")
to the first part of the answer: And how / where to set it?
Here is a guide:

Everything is set Exactly the same on both devices.
Is marked as a public-private network
If it is public, change it to private. Then you will also see the other computers after that.
Maybe the network environment should also ask you if you want to make the computer visible and want to see other computers on the network. There of course YES answer.
