The laptop is linked to your account - do you mean that the Windows license is linked to your Microsoft account (or to the email address you use for Microsoft)? This license remains linked to your Microsoft account as long as this account is on the PC. You can therefore continue to use this license even after hardware changes, as you only need to log in with your account.
What can you not remove? It is not clear.
Assuming that you mean it, as I described it in 1., the laptop will not be automatically logged out of your account. You will be asked for the new password, the link to the account remains. If you want to remove devices, you have to do it online in your Microsoft account.
