Do you happen to know a recording program with which I can record a certain area on my laptop?
E.g. If I have Minecraft in small screen mode, then I would still only like to record Minecraft, but not the rest of the screen.

OBS works very well there you just have to define the area.
If you want to stream, you can stay with the program, which is good for a lot of things.
Have you tried OBS before? The program is relatively easy to understand, there are many tutorials on YouTube.
I myself often use OBS as you describe it. However, with other programs. So the program has this function.
