Open screen recorder recording with VLC player?

I've just recorded a Zoom Meeting on my laptop using a screen recorder and wasn't sitting at the laptop during that time. For some reason, my laptop went off while recording, so I couldn't stop recording.

Now I have a 250MB recording but my VLC does not play the file.

What should I do now to play the file?
