I just got a new laptop 2 weeks ago to stream on Twitch. Unfortunately, everything hangs as soon as I make a ball screen recording or a game recording. I've tested it on multiple uses, but I just can't make it. With every application, the camera, microphone and screen recording hang as soon as I start a game.
Internet-wise I have a 40 mbits upload and also a LAN cable, so it can't be because of that…
I would be very grateful if you could help me.
Maybe you forgot to select your screen before you streamed, with dc you have to choose what you want to stream beforehand…
What hardware is that? What are you streaming with OBS? What are the settings, especially for video compression?
I installed a ryzen 7 and a gtx 1650ti. I stream with Obs (but it doesn't work with other applications either). And do you mean the settings or the Nividia with Obs?
Unfortunately, it's not because: / but thanks!
Ok, then I don't know what to do next, sorry
Meant the OBS settings. At best, a screenshot from the "Video" tab (there's, among other things, "Basic screen resolution") and from the "Output" tab. Same prob if you record locally?
I don't know how it works with the screenshots uploaded here. I only tried streaming but it doesn't work on discord either, it always becomes unstable and hangs.
