I never fly and will soon have to change this for work reasons.
If I fly at 6 am and only fly a short distance (so few seats, I think it's just a 100 person plane), when do I have to be at the airport? I just take a carry-on suitcase with plus accessories, so n laptop or something.
And I wanted to check in online.
When do I have to be at the airport? Is 4:45 am? The connections to the airport are in the morning rather bad.
I'm a bit scared too. Does anyone have motivational words? I fly from Bremen to Amsterdam
So if the departure is at 6 o'clock, boarding is around 5:35. 10 minutes before you should be at the gate, around 5:25.
In Bremen, there will not be much going on early, so wait for security control about 5-10 minutes.
So it's enough if you are at the airport around 5 o'clock. Your arrival time of 4:45 fits therefore easily.
An important point is: where do you live? If you live only a quarter of an hour from the airport, 4:45 would have just enough (Attention, often the check-in or the baggage fee closes one hour before departure).
But if you have an hour on the highway or by train, I would definitely aim at 4:00 arrival.
4:45 h enough, but you must not dawdle. I have had good experiences with being at the airport 90 minutes before departure. Then, after the security check, I usually have to wait another 30-40 minutes to get in, which is nice to me from a long time ago.
If I want to be there 4:45 I have to go 4:00 with the public.
The other option would be 4:15 clock there. I would do that if the online check in for some reason is not feasible.
