Difference between laptop and pc? Games?

Do all games that work on the PC also work on the laptop? Does anyone have cool laptop / PC games?

sa

Yes, because a laptop is a PC xD

only laptops are usually less powerful than PCs and quickly become loud and warm

But the market for gaming laptops has grown a lot in the last 2 years and these problems are not as severe as they used to be

pe

PC games also work on laptops the only difference is the price and the performance because for the same price of a laptop you get a better PC

st

That depends on whether you have a gaming laptop / computer. What will definitely run and what I can highly recommend is Anno 1404, because you can play it for a long time but it doesn't get boring.

And games?
battlefield, minecraft, call of duty, rainbow six, league of legends, read dead redemption 2, just download steam

A laptop is a PC.
A PC can be of different types. E.g. Just be a laptop, or a traditional desktop.

The difference is the form factor, here mainly the dimensions of the components.
Less space means fewer large cooling solutions, less performance, but there's also the mobility factor.

A laptop is a PC.
One therefore differentiates between laptop or notebook and desktop!
But a desktop computer is also a PC.

Just like an HTPC is a PC, just in a different format.

Before it gets even more confusing.
The difference is a housing on the desktop which can be opened to usually easily upgrade or repair the PC. A desktop can also be cooled better (which becomes more difficult with the HTPC).

In addition, the mouse, keyboard and monitor are external devices on a desktop, while on a laptop they are all in one.

So yes, you can play any PC game on a laptop, provided that the performance of the laptop is sufficient!
Laptop hardware is usually smaller and more energy efficient, so it is more expensive and worse than the same hardware for the desktop computer. So a GTX 1660 for the desktop is not the same for a laptop!

Due to the smaller design, you also have more problems cooling the device, a laptop is always warmer than a desktop and because of the smaller and faster rotating fans, it also gets louder.
