My laptop has a black screen what to do?

So my older Medion akoya laptop has a black screen. The lamps are all still on and there's sound. It has Windows, but an older version. It would help me a lot if someone gave me tips or how to fix the black screen.

Otherwise try to take the PC from the power, remove the battery, clean it, put the battery back in, and then turn the power back on and on. What comes next?
