I sold a laptop on the internet. Now the seller is angry that it only has an HDD and no SSD. He asked me which one was inside and I didn't answer because I didn't know. Then he bought it and had it picked up. The person collecting it then asked whether it had an HDD or an SSD. I said I don't know. Then the person collecting it said: Yes, I think it's an SSD. Then this man bought it. Now the buyer complains that it has a HDD and no SSD. He wants the money back and another 30 Fr because of the way. Or I should pay him another 100 or so to justify it. I said that I would like to take the laptop back but I don't want to pay 30. He threatened to report. I confronted him with the fact that the person collecting you was his brother, the person collecting said it himself. He told me and wrote to me that it was a colleague. What to do?
PS: I live in Switzerland
What is it all in €
I would say roughly right away from my gut
He made the mistake and didn't check it out just to be sure.
I wouldn't take it back because it might have taken something out or broken it.
You can get an SSD for 30 euro
Dat you notice how the system behaves after several reboots. I mean how quickly the OS boots.
An acceptance does not justify a legal claim (certainly also in Switzerland).
No fear.
What does he want to advertise you for? He knew you weren't sure.
What did the laptop cost? You can send him 20-30 euro for ne ssd (if the whole thing is in relation) and he should accept that.
So what does that mean?
I'm not familiar with the Swiss legal system, but according to my legal feeling, the buyer has to make sure in this case. If the buyer - as you don't know - the buyer just has to look or refuse the purchase. If he still buys the device and it does not meet his expectations, he is unlucky.
