Router is constantly reconnecting, what to do?

Today we got a new DSL connection to the Telekom with 100mbit / s. Speed test on the mobile phone also shows almost 100mbit / s. If a laptop or similar is connected to the router via LAN, almost 100 mbit will be displayed there. However, my PC is connected to the router via powerline, i.e. A LAN adapter. If I then start a download or a speed test here on the PC, A) only 20mbits are displayed in the download, 30 in the upload and, in addition, the internet is gone and the router reconnects (power button flashes).

The error must therefore be due to the adapter. I'm just confused why only now and not before switching to telekom? Adapters are from TP link and can transmit a good 100 mbits. The Fritzbox menu also says that the adapter sends 100mbits. What could be the problem?

PS. I went through the help list from Fritzbox completely, but came to no result

I'm happy that you have become a customer of ours. Welcome!

Unfortunately, I can only help you to a limited extent with questions about the Powerlines, as we do not sell these TP Link adapters. However, experience shows that this electricity solution does not always run stably, even from other providers. I have often had customers who have been doing well for years and then suddenly not anymore. Even without any changes. It is strange that the adapters no longer seem to work at the same time as the switch to us.

Basically, however, I always advise against using Powerlines, as these can even cause Internet crashes. Have you ever asked the manufacturer? Maybe he has a good tip for you.

Warm regards Nadine B.

Is it because of the adapter or can it be because of something else? Unfortunately, in my case I can only use Powerline, otherwise the LAN cable runs through the middle of the hallway.

Obviously the Powerline adapter is interfering with the DSL signal.

Try to use a different socket.

Try to increase the distance between the DSL cable and the wall. There may be a power cable in the wall near the TAE socket. A shorter cable might help too.

We all know that electronic devices are sometimes stupid. You mean you solve everything

Router, the LAN cable to the first adapter, the second Dlan adapter

Then start after a cup of coffee, a cigarette or a trip to the bathroom. (so that the last herring are out of the router)

With the router
let the finally boot!
Connect the LAN cable to the router,
Then the adapter goes to the socket.
The LAN cable to the 1st adapter
then the 2 adapters.

Usually that's enough.

Since you write that the cell phones have good bandwidths and the Internet only breaks down when you want to use it over the powerline, the assumption is very likely that it is due to the adapters. How about trying a https://www.telekom.de/...echnologie?

This can of course also be used by another manufacturer. You can rent it from us, for example.
