Dear community,
I bought Magix Samplitude 2019 a few days ago because I've been very interested in mixing and mastering for quite some time.
Installation went very well and you have many options with this program.
I decided especially for this DAW software because it is still reasonably affordable for the beginning.
Now I have the problem when I select an instrument, for example, and play it on the right side loudspeaker extremely noise as soon as I press this. Both with headphones and with the laptop speakers.
The noise is so loud that I could not do so only rudimentary.
Unfortunately I know myself in this area only conditionally and wanted to ask you why you might have a solution proposal for me.
I suspect that is due to the wiring. What was between computer and instrument? So what sound card is it and what instrument is used, and how is it wired?
How is the sound when you play a normal audio file? Does it rustle there too?
So I have nothing wired
Work only with the program
The noise comes only from the program.
I have no instruments attached.
Could it be that my sound card just can't cope with the Asio driver and I have to buy a USB audio interface?
The program itself does not rustle. Except on purpose. It's the hardware that is rushing. You should get an audio interface to significantly improve the sound and the latency.
That could already be (but it would be weird if the noise can only be heard on one channel). Just try another driver, e.g. ME instead of ASIO. And again, what happens if you load any audio file purely, and press play - the DAW so almost abused as an mp3 player.
