I have a little problem with my headset (Razer Kraken X): as soon as I plug it into my laptop, I hear a pretty loud noise. If I turn off my sound completely, the noise is still there, but it is quieter. I've scoured all possible internet forums, but no solution worked. I had the same problem a few months ago, but I don't remember how I solved it then.
I've already tried:
Driver updated, connect other headphones (all noise), connect my headset to other devices (no noise, everything is fine, so no cable break), jack connection cleaned, sound effects turned off in Windows settings, sound output uninstalled in device manager (noise disappeared, after reinstallation, renewed noise), ensured that the microphone does not reproduce what was recorded on my headset, audio format changed (16 bit, 48000 Hz), troubleshooting (no result)
My jack port on the laptop is probably not defective, the last time it worked again. With this noise, I can't keep my headphones on for more than 15 minutes without going crazy.
So thank you in advance, hope to see solutions soon.
I found the solution for everyone who has the same problem. I just had my headset at full volume and my Windows volume very low. This increased the noise. Just headphones quiet and Windows loud
