My laptop no longer plays sound (not even through headphones, so it's not the speaker).
I can no longer hear any sound even though it is activated on the device and in the application.
Can you help me?
PS: I have already had sound problems scanned and updated the driver.
1. Right click on the Windows START icon at the bottom left
2. Then left click on Explorer
3. Then RIGHT CLICK on "This PC" (on the left in the list)
4. Now left click on COMPUTER PROTECTION (top left)
5. Left click on System Restore
6. Pick a date where the sound worked
7. Click and continue
Assume you have a "Computer" icon on the desktop, right there and select "Manage" and the device manager. If a device has a (driver) problem somewhere, you will quickly see that. That is highlighted.
What are the error messages for the "troubleshoot sound problems" option?
Go to the manufacturer's website of your laptop. Download and install the drivers there. In most cases it will work again.
