No not true. Is also way too expensive. If you need a laptop, I would get a Thinkpad or HP Elitebook depending on your budget.
I have the Surface Pro 6 from 2018 and I'm super happy with it.
With the Intel i7 processor, 16GB RAM and the 128GB SSD (only use it occasionally) I paid ~ 1700 euro with keyboard.
You also have the option of using it as a tray.
A Surface is way too expensive.
I would rather recommend a 2in1 Chromebook. These are much cheaper. There's also the Google Play Store so that you can also install Android apps on it.
Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Teams are also available as Android apps.
You can also print with it. To do this, install the printing app for your printer brand via the Google Play Store. If you have a multifunction device, you can also scan with the app.
