Firefox stutters when I use the touchpad?

Hi, as already described, I have the problem that my Firefox browser jerks on my laptop when I use the touchpad. Strangely, this is not the case when I use the browser with the mouse attached. Updates and drivers are up to date!

What can that be? I appreciate every answer LG.

What jerks in Firefox when you use the touchpad? Scrolling YouTube comments or scrolling through a long Wikipedia article (e.g. https://de.wikipedia.org/...wendungen) or pages containing images such as https://www.instagram.com/...iseonline/

I would quit all programs and restart Windows once via Start → On / Off → Restart and then test Firefox again with the above-mentioned pages. Is the Firefox version 88.0.1? Does the laptop have enough power for Windows 10? Write what kind of one it is (manufacturer, model, CPU, RAM, graphics card, SSD or HDD). Which Firefox add-ons do you have installed?

Yes, e.g. Through YouTube comments… It shouldn't be due to the performance, I have a DELL Inspiron from 2020 with Intel i7 10th gen., 8GB RAM, 500GB M.2 SSD and also an NVIDIA MX330

Of course, I've restarted my laptop several times… The latest graphics drivers and Windows updates are also installed. As a Firefox add-on I only have UBlock Origin

Take a look at the link here, maybe it's the driver or the settings of the touchpad again.

If that doesn't help, uninstall the driver completely and see if there's any improvement. But it is certainly not due to Firefox itself.
