Raspberry pi3 b + raspbian (2019-07-10) disable onboard Wi-Fi and enable usb Wi-Fi?

I have already tried with nano /boot/config.txt onboard Wi-Fi and bluetooth to disable what has worked, but I think that I generally disable the Wi-Fi, that just stops a usb Wi-Fi stick no longer works. I have already looked with the command lsusb and the usb Wi-Fi stick is recognized. It's a TP Link TL-WN823N V3 that works strangely on my laptop (Linux Mint), where I just need to put the stick in it. I would like to use the Wi-Fi usb stick and have switched off the onboard Wi-Fi meanwhile, how do I do that now? Is it the operating system, the pi or the stick? I also had a china usb stick (ordered from aliexpress.com) plugged into the pi and he was able to receive Wi-Fi's, but it's now broken.
