First Google results only consist of advertisements?

I've had a problem with Google for a long time: Whenever I google something, the result of the search is shown to me first as usual. For example, when I google for the weight of the earth, I first see a window with the weight and, to the right, a window with general information about the earth. These windows now only stay for 1 second and are then superseded by advertising links (e.g. From Amazon or Thalia etc.).

E.g.: "The earth and I by Oliver Mo…" by Thalia

Or "How much does a mountain weigh - at Amazon.de"

This really gets on my nerves. I also use my laptop. I look forward to your answers.

Sure you're using an ad blocker, but something like that comes anyway. I always scroll down until I see "Web Results" in gray. This is where the search results begin; what is above, I ignore.

By the way: startpage.com is better than Google. Test winner in data protection, they don't save your searches.

Then do an AD blocker on your laptop! I just googled Weight of the Earth and I'm not getting any ads!

The Iron Browser (for Android) is an almost identical copy of Chrome, except that the trackers have been omitted. It's also faster than Chrome, by the way.

There's certainly also a desktop browser without a tracker. I use Opera.

Neither do I. No ads… Firefox and adblocker.

I've been using an ad blocker from Chromestore for a long time. I just deleted it and can now google normally again.

Al

Cool! Then next time put another AD blocker on it and not one from Google. Sure, that advertising lets through those who work together!

Thank you very much
