As a layman, open your laptop and clean the fan? Warranty?

I have my new laptop for almost 6 months now and I suspect that dust has accumulated there. Would love to unscrew my laptop and clean the fan. Would be my first time and I wonder if I open the wrong somehow or do something wrong if my guarantee will expire?

From the outside with the vacuum cleaner

In what work environments did you use the device? Normally, practically nothing accumulates in the device in 6 months, in any case not so much that cleaning would be necessary.

Jain.

The guarantee is void as soon as you separate the heat sink from the CPU and GPU. Speak when you replace the thermal paste. Since this is not necessary after 6 months, you will probably only have to clean the fans and the fins of the cooler. If this is really the first time that you open a laptop or electronics in general, you should do as much research as possible beforehand. Notebooks are twice as difficult to clean as conventional PCs. In a pinch, you'd better let an expert do it for you. As long as it doesn't ask for too much money.

(After 6 months, cleaning is actually not yet due)

After 6 months you don't have to clean it.

My laptop hadn't collected any serious amounts of dust in 5 years. There was more dust on the outside than on the inside.

Depends on the room and the dust filters in that thing.

I don't think it's necessary. My lapi has been without cleaning for 10 years
