Is there a difference when playing on PC and smartphone?

Had loaded the game Puzzle Craft 2 onto my smartphone a few months ago and played it with great pleasure.

Now it runs on my notebook and it bores me insanely.

Is there a "technical" reason for this or is it just me?

On the smartphone it plays a more intuitive, because you do not have to laboriously pack and move the puzzle pieces with the mouse and b.) you play with the phone in a different environment etc.
