My laptop suddenly stopped booting yesterday and is now stuck in the automatic repair loop.
I was able to back up my data using an Ubuntu USB stick.
Then I tried all possible suggestions in the repair menu (jump start, reset, etc.), unfortunately no success. Unfortunately, I also don't have a security point on the notebook.
I then created a bootable stick with the MediaCreationTool to reinstall Win10. Here, too, I first tried all the repair options and also an installation directly from the USB stick, unfortunately this also breaks off after a while without a helpful error message.
Does somebody still have an idea? I have to say that the notebook is quite old. What could be broken here?
Did you delete all existing partitions when you reinstalled? Windows shows you which ones have already been created. Everything should go there. Reinstall completely clean.
I didn't do that, then I got the message that the old version will be stored in a folder. How can I delete the partitions?
