Should I get a Surface laptop or the new Pro X?

Can't decide which one to get…

I need a new laptop / notebook and do not know whether the Surface Laptop is better or rather the Notebook Surface Pro X.

Would need it for school. Open office, notes or documents from a stick etc. Should be possible. The screen size has to be at least 13 ", as this was stated by our school. Otherwise I need it to surf the Internet normally and watch Netflix.

Does anyone know about you and can recommend one better?

The big disadvantage of Surface Pro X is that not all programs run on it. Office is not a problem. However, if you use other programs from school, this can be a problem.
The Surface laptop isn't really worth it, because another laptop is better.
As a compromise, the Surface Book can be worthwhile for you.

the Surface Book seems a bit expensive to me. Can you tell me if the Surface Pro X or a Macbook would be worth it? Otherwise I'll start saving for the Surface Book haha!

MacBook is just as worthless as the Surface Laptop. There are enough cheaper notebooks, which are also very good quality.

The question is whether you need a touchscreen or not or want a tablet or not

Hi, a tablet would be very useful because I watch a lot of Netflix or movies. I think, as you say, a Macbook would not be useful for the 'basic' stuff.

Then the Surface Pro X is the right choice for you
