I think that could be due to the new update. Since then, my Sims is constantly spinning, it always crashes after 5 minutes and the Baumodus can't use either, because the game always hangs right there. I would wait for the next update, vll ea that again, I think, several have since the update problems with the game

Have my game back to 64 bits changed since that works again, you should also try it maybe it works for you too.
