Good laptop for programming (study)?

Can anyone of you recommend the Acer Extensa 15 EX2519-P892 (https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/acer+extensa+15+ex2519+p892) for programming?

Do not want to spend too much on the laptop. Would take him only to the lectures to co-program or write. Have just in my apartment in addition to a PC.

If you have any other recommendations, you can of course also tell me. The laptop should not cost more than 450 euro - 500 euro.

So

When you learn programming, you will surely come to grips with Linux. Look on the side after Linux. You get more for the money. https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/...4b61508b5a

I can't recommend anything from Acer. In addition, the device for the equipment is overpriced. An Intel Pentium N3710 is relatively underachieving and already a good three years old. A Full HD display is in the price range normal also in it. Furthermore, I would rather put on an SSD instead of a HDD, as this provides again for a decent speed boost.

A simple office device is sufficient for your requirements. Since I would put on a device with a processor from Intel Core i3 or something equivalent of AMD.

Here would be a device from HP for 333 euro: https://www.alternate.de/HP/15-db1224ng-Notebook/html/product/1556331

It is a 15.6-inch device with a Full HD display. Installed are an AMD Ryzen 3 3200U, 8 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD. The device is sufficient for your requirements in any case and despite the cheaper price significantly more powerful.

Do

I program in JAVA and got on well with this:

Thanks, that sounds good. Unfortunately, I would need the laptop already in early October. Would there be another possibility?

Oh, I did not pay attention to the delivery date. He is also very neat: https://www.computeruniverse.net/de/hp-255-g7-7dd27es-156-ryzen38gb256gbssdfhd-freedos

There's not much difference between the 2200U and the 3200U.

Great thank you. Looks very promising. I think I'll take that.

For your requirements, a 10 year old used by eBay enough for 20 to 30 euro with self-installed Linux.

I know that because I speak from experience!

As a poor / needy student, I would rather put the money saved in many very good textbooks, and work through this. Since you have much more in the long term of… Assuming your study does not burden you to 110%.

PS: Some students with devices that cost more than 100 times that amount will initially raise their eyebrows, but at the end of the third semester at the latest, they also realize that there's no difference between "Mac Book Pro" when it comes to student work. And "almost e-waste" gives.
