Notebook hangs during startup in continuous loop. How to boot without boot CD?

The computer has run a Windows update the night before yesterday. It is an Acer Aspire E15 with Windows 10. At startup comes very briefly the message: "It is trying to restore the installation…" followed by the message: "Computer-made changes are reversed…".

Both messages appear only very briefly. Then the PC crashes and starts again. And that happens in continuous loop again and again. Turning off hard 3 times or more did not work. With the key F2 I come to the bios. From there, however, he can't start either. Did not make a boot CD of the system 😢

Is there still a possibility to start from an external medium or can you solve something else?

Try to restore in the BIOS the default setting of the BIOS. Then in the boot menu in the BIOS select the partition where Windows is installed. That would have to be called "Windows", mostly it is the smaller partition on the SSD.

Otherwise, press Ctrl + F8 at boot time, then you're in the startup manager. Then in the advanced options. Then click on jump start.

Thank you. The boat priority I have tried. Unfortunately did not work. This with the startup manager is a good tip. Unfortunately do not come in after many attempts. I tried Ctrl + F8, or Shift + F8. Can I create a boot CD with another Windows 10 computer and boot with it?

Jo

Yes, just download the ISO file and pack it on another CD, but then a key or Ne license is needed.
