My laptop (acer aspire f5 intel core i5 geforce 940mx) has already crashed twice during a fifa match with the error code critical process died.had made me smart, it means that this is a mistake for old / wrong hardware. So I checked and it is the standard in the latest version ver.da my laptop is not the youngest (2 years) I worry. What should I do now? I also tried to remove all connected devices… Nothing happened.
Now I have restarted and updates are installed… Does that help?
Maybe the device is simply dusty after the time and runs hot while playing… This can then crash and cause error messages… Also, it is conceivable that the driver and the operating system are not up to date and with the game does not work properly… Also a hardware defect is conceivable (but rather unlikely) :-)
What should i do then?
At 2 years of age, it's never too old. Nice to have all updates made. That the updates are missing can already be a reason.
It has always worked this way before, it's only recently. It started when I played an online match with my brother
Control the temperatures of CPU and GPU while playing… If it's about 90 degrees, then what's wrong with the cooling:-)
Thank you.
Is there a program (I'm now anything but an expert in the field XD)
That may be. 2 years is not outdated… And who says that anyway?
this is more of a software problem. Exactly how the bluescreen is triggered to 80% driver or kernelbedingt as by defective hardware. Sometimes check the system data or check for virus. There are also pests that affect you important processes and possibly terminate. Can be due to a lot, but certainly not in a 2 year old device to hardware which is outdated xD rather not so.
Thank you very much
With GPUID you can watch GPU and CPU… There's a point Sensors where the temperature is read… Important is that the direct while playing checked because already a few seconds after minimizing or ending the games the temperatures fall abruptly

Yes No problem
Have now activated the antivirus program and the process sfc / scannow…
