I would like to connect the above mentioned monitor to my gaming laptop (Acer Predator Helios 300), I currently have a 1080p, I think 60 Hertz monitor with 23.6 inches. Can the laptop do it? If not, does it make more sense to go to 1080p, 144 Hertz or 1440p and 75 Hertz?
Please be a little more precise, if you want to use windows, it will definitely work, but if you want to use Red Dead Redemption 2 in Ultra with 1440p, you will probably not get 144Hz. So I can only help if I know what you are gambling… Of course you can play more games on ultra with 1080p than with a 1440p monitor. As a result, the GPU has to calculate more pixels and accordingly needs more power.
I mainly play Team Fortress 2 (the game has no great graphics) and Apex Legends (on the worst settings)
