Old laptop very slow?

I found my old laptop (Acer aspire e17) it is very slow and takes about 15 minutes to start up completely and even then it does not manage to open a folder or an explorer, I wonder if that has something to do with the script error or if someone has any tips except to set it up again because many photos and videos are stored on it

If you have too full memory then this will make the computer pretty slow. I would recommend that if you want to keep the data or your memory is not even full, always set the computer to energy-saving mode and not shut it down.

I would still advise you to restart your computer and save the photos either on a large USB stick or an external hard drive. If you don't want to lose the user data either, you have to back up the data before restoring it and save it on the USB stick or the external hard drive (if you reset the PC via the settings you will be asked beforehand whether you want to save important data).
