I would like to run a "clean start" on my Acer laptop with Windows 10 (version 1709) or simply reset the PC. I don't know now whether that is the same.
Whenever I try to do this, however, I get a message that there's still space required on the disk. The amount changes every time, sometimes it says that z. B. 692 MB is still required, times 588 MB or something.
Then I'm shown suggestions on how to get more storage space, namely:
"Run Disk Cleanup"
"Copy files to an external device and delete them from this PC"
"Uninstall programs"
The thing is, I've already done all of this. I ran disk cleanup and deleted all files. I actually went into the program list and uninstalled all programs, the only things that are still in this program list seem to be important programs, e.g. B. Driver. But even if I add up their size, it doesn't get nearly as much memory as is needed.
What should I do now? How can I free up more memory? What can I delete if I have already deleted everything that can be deleted?
So do you want to reset the PC now if you have already deleted everything?
Or what?
Just use the https://www.jam-software.de/treesize_free to find the folders that take up the most space.
I mainly want the latest version of Windows, which I suppose resetting installs.
Thanks, I just couldn't find very large files!
It will also be installed if there's enough free space.
Then try to get into the boot system, so reboot and then press and hold the Delete key F2 F8. Say it when you can or say it when you can't
Or simply google reset windows with the boot menu
