32bit Linux system with Wine for old laptop worthwhile?

I have an Acer Aspire One KAV60 and I want to install a new OS because I want to write and surf a bit. Nothing great, maybe Nostale, if possible. Of course, Wine has to work as well if I want to clean Nostale.

I'm looking for a new 32bit operating system. The processor is only 32Bit capable. What can you recommend to me? Is it worth a ssd? Does that even work with the electricity? Thanks! Ps: Windows 10 is running very badly and not fluently.

Maybe Manjaro Xfce 32 bit would be worth considering: https://manjaro.org/download/32bit-xfce/

Of course you can install Linux and work with open office. I would recommend this but only someone who is ready to relearn. Windows is definitely more ergonomic. In the meantime, there are SSDs for an apple and an egg so why not, a little bit, what good does it do.

The fuller and lazier the hard drive is, the slower Windows gets.

Kost nix, is still pointless does not make a fuss.

Ne SSD is always good.

Hi

The processor is only 32Bit capable.

With the small ATOM processor I do not see any big jumps, surfing (Midori) without Flash or 4k Youtube and writing with Abiword should work, at Nostale I have my doubts.

Possible:

Arch Linux
Puppy Linux
SliTaz
antiX
Tiny Core

best only with ROX, TWM, Budgie as a graphical interface., but also very much depends on how much memory the device has. But you can't do much with the standard 512 MBytes.

I would first try Lubuntu. If that does not work out well enough, you can take a look at antiX.

WINE can use it easily (32 bit versions of programs are usually better with WINE anyway).

To write: Abiword, or a normal text editor, possibly even "only" nano / vi / etc.

To surf: Vivaldi should be pretty quick and slim, but I've never tested him on weak systems, I'm not even sure if there's even a 32 bit variant. Otherwise just boring Firefox. But there are also other browsers (Falkon & co.), If you do not run Firefox fast enough. Just try it out, which feels the most fluid for you.

What reasonably current on the topic of economical browser:

Your answer is not helpful, because the questioner has said very clearly that Windows is NOT eligible!

You are obviously a fan of Windows with little or no knowledge of Linux, otherwise you would not make such statements!
