Strong laptop for working with stocks / trades, etc?

As described above, I'm looking for a strong laptop, should not cost 1500 euro, but can also be in the range 500-800. Performance is important, I don't care about looks. If someone is particularly knowledgeable, just add their mustard! (Since I have no idea about laptops or all this stock stuff, I'm pretty overwhelmed with it.)
