What does DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN mean?

For me, my laptop in the W-LAN (Fritz! Box 7590) does not show almost all Internet pages. Instead, it shows the following message:

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

and that although all other devices are running perfectly in the W-LAN.

Why is this and how can I fix it?

Possible solution: Specify a different DNS server.
