Is the computing power of the PC used or is it just a hard drive?
Teamviewer on both PC and laptop, create an account so you do not have to enter the data again and again. Is also available for mobile phone.

Computing power is hardly claimed for a remote connection to my knowledge. When transferring screen content, however, a fast Internet is recommended (especially the upload speed of the device being accessed plays a fundamental role here) if the devices are not on the same local network.

Simple method, without extra programs:
Connect both to the network.
In Folder Explorer, at the top of the address bar, type C: \ instead
"\\ IP address of your laptop \ c $"
Example "\\ 192.168.2.1 \ c $"
Your local ip address can find out under your network settings or with Win + R β enter "cmd" β in the cmd "ipconfig" enter, there's then at Ipv4 your local IP address.
I think the easiest way is a remote desktop connection or TeamViewer.
