I wanted to paint something again today and when I switched on the graphics tablet the screen of my laptop went black (the tablet worked as usual). I didn't do anything different today and I'm a little overwhelmed.
Does anyone know how I can fix the error?

Was with me too I had a VGA connector and there's no idea how a small pin broke off and when I switched to HDMI I had not used the graphics tablet for a long time and then there was a lot of dust and then the cable is completely dusty and it was very difficult to clean it
Windows 10 I think. And no, absolutely no error message, nothing at all. I haven't changed anything. And as soon as I switch off / unplug the graphics tablet, my laptop works as normal again

What hardware does your laptop have and how did you connect your tablet?
I have absolutely no plan what hardware I have (or where you can see it) the tablet is connected via HDMI cable + USB cable for the battery

That really doesn't help. Need either:
Model number or
Product name
I would first look if a pin of your VGA connector is broken or dusty or if you have an HDMI cable it will dust it once ^^
I would borrow a new plug from your boyfriend or acquaintance and see if it works

What is going on, what remains? Anything else happening? Is the laptop getting louder or quieter? Does it happen if you are in Windows or before?
