Problems with my new laptop (possibly virus)?

For about three to four days my laptop has been behaving very strangely.

Here are some examples: When I open a folder in which video files are located, all the icons at once look as if they were empty even though I can open them normally with the Vlc player, or certain programs do not open or it takes a very long time the same applies to some commands. And when trying to scan the computer with Avira, it always got stuck at 32 percent. It only worked after a restart, but he found nothing. The same applies to an online scan (nothing was found).

Download "Malwarebytes". This is a good antivirus / malware program

Maybe the hard drive is giving up or there's adware in the game which under certain circumstances can't be found by anti-virus software… If you have installed Avira it can also be to blame -> I trust do the pile of Sch # +? Software meanwhile everything…
