I have a little problem with my gaming laptop.
I like to play Escape from Tarkov. There I have problems with my FPS because I have ingame at a maximum of 20-40 fps it just doesn't feel smooth even though I have set everything to poor quality.

You could use MSI Afterbuner to check whether you have temperature problems.
Update graphics driver.
Energy saving mode and Nvida control panel on top performance.
End unnecessary background processes with Task Manager.
Check whether also really. The graphics card and not the CPU is used
With MSI afterburner I get an error message when I start it.
I once worked on my energy saving plan, it was balanced on this, and now I have it on top performance.
In any case it has already brought something but I think you can get more out of it.
