Hi, ASUS laptop is no longer responding properly!
Until recently it was still working properly, but now there's nothing more to be done!
An update doesn't help either.
He knows that I (e.g. Touch Chrome, but you can't start it.
It has 6GB RAM, HDD only, from 2014.
Try restarting your laptop, ie: select in the shutdown menu
"Restart".
Press the power button for 30 seconds (this takes power from the device).
I'm sorry to have to tell you, but you have the completely wrong operating system on it. Windows 10 causes problems, especially with old computers.
Mostly due to the automatic updates, which should be set to OFF when reinstalling Microsoft operating systems, bring more incompatibilities with them.
You should put Windows 7 on top. Windows 10 is a block on the leg of this laptop. The minimum requirements of Windows 10 are 4 GB of RAM. You just have 6 GB of storage. You can't even start a decent editing program with it without your computer freezing. And when you have steam and co in the taskbar, you bring the computer to its knees with it.
Windows 7 is taking half of the resources.
And before someone says: "But the security updates! They are important!"
I have only one thing to say to him; No they are not. They even cause more security gaps at Microsoft than they are supposed to close. This is a stupid marketing gag to sell a newer version of Windows.
I also appreciate that you have a lot of background programs active and, if necessary, have disabled virtual memory.
Do you have any toolbars or free programs installed?
