Who stays loyal to Windows 7 beyond the year 2020 as a private user? I've noticed that laptops with this reliable operating system are still very much in demand and that's why I want to quickly buy such an age-old part of ASUS!
But I'm not sure if the calculator recognizes the printer, mouse and keyboard, and Kaspersky and Firefox still work reliably after the updates have expired.
I need the calculator neither for watching HD movies nor for playing, but only to read the newspaper and to completely anonymous leaves on various sales platforms!
The so important mailbox and the associated account as an app are never on the computer, but in the head with the respective passwords! With the smartphone is then made via the secure 4G after logging in then the purchase.
Also, I've gotten used to changing passwords regularly at both mailbox and ebay & co, especially after the last visit to it, when I had to be logged in to make a purchase.
Could you continue to work with Windows 7 after the deadline under these conditions?
I'm now a Windows 10 user, but there are no programs that are for Windows 10. There are only some that are for Windows 7, which then, since the base is the same, also run on Windows 10, so there should not be any restrictions, except perhaps the drivers…
I. I find this pseudo compulsion to always switch to the latest and talk about operating system totally stupid.
I pay 25 euro a year for a good virus scanner that has never let me down. My purchased Win7 Home Professional 64 bit license remains here until it is technically no longer possible. If I had not taken away from my 32-bit system because of memory upgrades, I would still be relatively safe with Windows XP.
Everything works, my SSD disk is fast and I never have any viruses or security problems. I do not know a single reason why I need something else.
Always this rumgeheheule because of the upgrade to a next higher Windows version.
On Linux, no one whines around when the LTS expires and you are forced to switch to the next LTS.
The hardware will run under Win7 for a few more years. It's all about the danger that there will be no more security updates. But nobody forces you to change. You can also install WinXP, just the question of whether the hardware is supported.
How did you get it?
Under W10, not all programs running under W7 run far.
Just the opposite…
