I have a problem with my laptop / screen. Yesterday I was able to use everything without any problems, but when I started it earlier, the 2nd screen did not work. The screen is recognized but remains black. I've already tried another HDMI cable, but it didn't help. It works on another screen. I have an Asus computer with an intel core i5 7th Genreation and Nvidia GTX 950M, if that helps. The monitor on which it does not work is from Samsung. Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I disconnected the power from the screen once, after which it worked again.
Windows key + P
You press this until you have a picture again.
I only have a picture on the laptop screen in duplicate mode. Still have any ideas, or just keep pressing windows and p?
EDIT: even in extended mode, the 2nd screen still remains black.
So only on one Samsung screen, does it stay black? Is it possible on another monitor?
Yep, exactly.
Got another idea?
Got it done, disconnected the screen from the power and reconnected it.
