The RAM of my laptop is currently 8 GB, of which 4 GB can be used. Since the memory usage is constant at 50% (or more), I would like to expand it. However, I have little experience upgrading laptops and would be very happy about every tip I can get.
Incidentally, this is an ASUS Pro Notebook laptop with Windows 10 and the P2520L model.
With a laptop this can be something "difficult"
If you have never done something like this and the notebook is still relatively "young", I would have it used.
The memory latch must match the model, with some models a complete memory change is necessary because there's no free bank.
Our PC dealer is asking 10-15 EURO plus bars. And you have to buy the storage there anyway. Then you have "guarantee" and if it doesn't work… Off to the dealer.
But 8 GB is actually sufficient, because 50% are still free, which is actually OK. SSD brings more if there's none installed.
