TV device, from the laptop, scan for viruses?

For the third time this year Internet access will block Internet access for me. Reason: The modem receives viruses from a device that is connected via our modem.

at first I thought it was my dad's laptop. He has an old Asus. So we have not turned on the since July (last lock). Then it went on for a few months now but we were locked again yesterday.

Since we have a new TV device for months, which works only over the Internet, I suspect that it could be.

I have now logged in the modem and see all the devices that are connected. Is there a possibility that I can scan the individual devices from there? Or the connections Device -> Modem?

The internet provider blocks your internet because the modem receives virus data?

Sorry, I've been working privately and professionally for over 20 years in IT and IT, but I honestly never read or heard anything like that.

And the modem receives viruses? How should that please go?

what does the internet provider say in the words?

that would interest me, as an internet provider expresses in the matter.

"Since we have a new TV set that only works over the internet for months, I suspect that it could be."

I suspect you suspect something wrong. I have not heard anything about TV viruses yet. There's more of a mobile phone in question.

Can you please post the wording of the letter? I've never heard anything like it. A modem has a data flow that the provider should not know what it is about.

Oa

Netcologne has done this once in a while when over 25 port out too much spam / traffic came out. A then smaller Munich provider has called you as a customer and told you when too much traffic on certain ports went out with you. In Switzerland, this still seems to happen to providers today.
