My laptop charging cable has recently given up on ghost. Now I'm looking for a new one. However, there's the exact adapter model that I no longer had (not even on asus.com itself). I don't really know what I'm doing and therefore I don't know what to look for. A wrong cable could eventually damage my laptop and of course I don't want that.
My laptop: Model UX390U 45 watts, Asus ZenBook with USB C connection
On a professional site I saw an adapter that says: "All Asus with max. 65W and USB-C connection". Is that possible or could it damage my laptop?
The laptop regulates the charging current of the battery.
The "adapter" must be able to deliver at least 45 watts. So 65 is not too little, there's no damage to the laptop.
Thank you so much!
