Windows 10 - no Wi-Fi connection possible?

So I'll summarize you briefly:

It is not a problem of the router, because it is also not possible to connect to the hotspot of the mobile phone.

WLAN driver updated.

Since it was necessary anyway, Windows was even factory reset.

When I want to connect it says:

Some information has changed since the last time.

Pw entered correctly, the answer comes as the password is not correct. Entered again correctly, the message appears that no connection to this network is possible.

I'm a little desperate because this problem occurred from one day to the next.

When I connect the laptop to the router, I can suddenly connect to the WLAN. Once disconnected, it is no longer possible.

Laptop is an Asus ROG Strix GL703GM with Windows 10 Home

Ever had the same. Is the old game: wait a bit and hope for a clever windows update.

Repair Windows.

Check for updates.

Reinstall Windows.

Pu

Has the router been set so that only devices known to it can connect? That almost made me white-hot.

kn

Unfortunately, this is not due to the router because there's a problem with every router or cell phone hotspot: / thanks anyway for the tip!

If you want a reasonable answer, then

Wi-Fi and internet are 2 different things!
Therefore, describe the problem factually and with the right terms

If you don't even know what I'm talking about, go to a friend or specialist who is familiar with it!

Pu

Did you get the drivers from the manufacturer's website?

kn

Also yes:/

Ok then I have expressed myself badly.

WLAN connections are not possible. When I want to connect to the WLAN it happens as described above, the first attempt to connect comes with the message that information has changed since the last time. It is not so. If the password is entered correctly again, the following message appears: Can't connect to this network. If I plug in the LAN cable, there's a LAN connection and also a WLAN connection. This then lasts for a while, however, the WLAN connection breaks off again. No matter which network I connect to, these errors occur. As I said, drivers are also updated, uninstalled, reinstalled, carried out with the laptop factory reset, nothing helped.

My recommendation would be:
in the network
(Control Panel \ Network and Internet \ Network and Sharing Center)

delete everything and set up all adapters and accesses, in the simplest case disconnect or remove all network devices, then delete all existing networks.
Then shut down the PC, plug in or switch on all network adapters and devices and then switch on the PC again.

Windows will then reinstall everything itself.

If that doesn't help, then do a "repair installation":

The easiest way to do this is to use the Windows MediaCreationTool to create an installation DVD or stick with the latest Windows updates.

Then start the setup.exe in running Win10 and start an upgrade of the existing system - select it, keep all data and files!

No data or programs will be deleted!
All defective system files are renewed and Windows is repaired.
As a precaution, carry out a complete backup of the data beforehand - you never know…

If few or few programs are installed, a new installation is better after a data backup!
