I bought a Zyxel WAP3205 v3 and want to use it as a repeater. I have everything set up, two cell phones and a notebook are already running on the repeater, only my notebook is bucking. It is an ASUS S56CA, i5 3317U, bought in 2013. According to the network settings, an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 wireless adapter is built in (at least that's how I interpret it). The instruction manual for the repeater states that it supports IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11n wireless clients. How can I check which clients my wireless adapter supports?
If I want to connect to the network of the repeater it says "network requirements are being checked" and then "no connection to this network possible" without asking for the password. My notebook has been around for a few years and I encrypted the Wi-Fi with WPA2 (AES), could that be the problem?
Does the router assign IP addresses "dynamically" or are they set there?
Such messages are used, for example, if the PC wants to "automatically" obtain the Internet address, the router or network access point specifies a fixed address or address frame.

What could still be hints, yesterday during setup, several devices still worked with the repeater, today no longer:
A cell phone has authentication problems when connecting, no internet connection
with the iPhone, connected yesterday, the internet connection works
A Macbook still worked yesterday (Wi-Fi), today no internet connection
Playstation connected yesterday with ethernet cable, does not work today, because the configurator shows "Down" for this port
AppleTV, today connected with ethernet cable, internet connection works
