Load backwards via usb

I'm often on the move and need power for my cell phone via usb-c from time to time, but since I pay too much attention to security, I want to have the data pins bridged so that only power and no data (data is power, you know but what i mean) flow, i have a usb-c hub with several usb 3 gen 1 (or 2) connections on my mobile phone 90% of the time and wanted to ask whether i could quasi "backwards" with zb https://www.amazon.de/...0834Z2SRB/ can charge the mobile phone with a usb-c cable, so to speak first laptop / pc / etc, then cable, the piece in the link, then my breakout which ends immediately in usb-a without data pins, usb-c hub and only then my mobile phone. I hope that was reasonably understandable, otherwise I'll have to paint something and upload it here

I didn't understand it, but the cable is on and when it charges then it charges, there's never too much voltage on the cable, no matter where you connect it.

You really can't go wrong with charging your cell phone, you're worrying too much

Have uploaded a picture, have to wait a moment until it is accepted

Should have been edited, but could try e.g. Discord (Ash_ # 3065) can be explained with screensharing, maybe that's a little clearer

I don't know exactly why a breakout, I didn't know anything like that either, but in itself it works the way you have it.

As I said, you can't go wrong with charging your cell phone, usb remains usb regardless of how many links it runs.

Just connect, nothing can break

If you connect to the laptop via USB A, you won't get a lot of power and charging will take forever.

When I plug my cell phone into the laptop and charge it via USB C with 18 watt power delivery, it is faster than when it charges with a standard USB A 2.0 or 3.0 port.

Why don't you just get a PowerBank? There are really good ones for USB C.

Ar

I usually sit there for a long time anyway, I don't care about the speed

Thank you, I would have to buy parts for it, even if it's only a few euro I don't want to buy something that I ultimately can't use

Why not just clip a power bank in between and it's good?
